Our Goal

The Israeli Chamber in Cambodia has as a primary goal to be an active player in supporting the extraordinary development efforts done by the Cambodian private and public sectors. We firmly believe in our capacity to be of help bringing know-how and expertise from one of the world's leaders in the Field: The state of Israel.

The creation of the Chamber is the result of our belief in the Cambodian people, the Cambodian culture, and the hidden potential that lies within the kingdom. A vast fertile land, a young, dynamic and knowledge thirsty labor pool, smart governance, and a global will to constantly improve, are the fuel of the ongoing change. Analyzing the situation we came to the conclusion that the missing catalyst, that will accelerate local development and propel Cambodia back to its place as a regional and global leader, is the access to know-how and the reinforcement of local capacity.

On a more concrete note, we take it upon ourselves to be the access point for Israeli players into Cambodia, as well as the contact point for any Cambodian private or public entity wishing to interact with an Israeli structure.

We will initiate regular activities seeking to increase the global level of know-how in Cambodia, and subsequently strengthen the ties between the two countries, and more importantly, between their respective business communities.

Know-how and reinforced capacity

Although the Cambodian economy is currently based on the export of raw material and cheap labor, it hides a great potential for fast growth thanks to the composition of its population, and the geographic dispositions of the country.

Bringing know-how and expertise will have as a direct consequence, the creation of a new layer in the economy; a layer of creation and innovation. This will indirectly lead to a reinforcement of the local labor pool capacity, which will, in turn, attract high-end international players, constantly looking for the next upcoming market in order to strengthen their position in their respective sectors.

In that regard, the state of Israel is the ideal partner, a small state known for its ingenuity, eager to develop strong relationships with international partners capable of providing access to new markets.

Israel is a renowned world leader in technology, being a front runner in many crucial sectors such as agriculture and agro-industry, water treatment, energy production technology, med-tech, cyber-tech and ICT development. It is therefore the ideal partner for the Kingdom of Cambodia as it possesses all the expertise and know-how the Kingdom requires. On the other hand, the Kingdom of Cambodia, is the ideal partner for the state of Israel, as it has a vast land, a young and willing labor pool, and is an entry to one of the most exciting and dynamic markets in the world, Southeast Asia.

This alignment of interest urges for the establishment of a true collaboration between the countries and their respective business communities, a task we took upon ourselves to complete.

Our Team

Our Team is a mixture of Israeli experts and local opinion leaders working together in order to reach a common goal and make the development transition in the kingdom as smooth as possible. We strongly believe in the benefit of a strong collaboration between Israel and Cambodia, and are dedicated to its success.
